New King James Version
1 John 4:17-21
The Consummation of Love
17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness
in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear
involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19
We love
Him because He first loved us.
Obedience by Faith
20 If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar;
for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how
can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this
commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his
brother also.

This site was designed by my daughter
Amber. She is self taught in Graphic & Web Design. If you would like to contact her
about her work, her e-mail is ahs@eloquenceofmuse.com
The pics of the soaps were taken at my Mom's and
Dad's home, in front of the Scuppernong Vine on
an Antique Kitchen table that my Mom has used
for years, with a couple of Antique Irons and a
washing board that my Grandmother used to use.

Since we are a Mom and Pop family hobby, we make our finished
products in small batches so that we can control the quality of the
products better. We also enjoy supplying soapmakers with our special
molds that Eddie makes and I, Rita, enjoy teaching others about this
wonderful wholesome craft. Not just how to make soap from scratch, but
also how to make lotions, creams, etc. that are much better for the
skin.
Here is how I became interested in making a more natural skin care
product.
TLC Soaps and Sundries came about because of my interest in more Natural
Products for my family. I had been learning about Herbs and Vitamins
for several years and the help they are to the body. I had a dream about
my Grandmother talking to me about soaps. So, naturally I just had to
know what it was all about. I went on a 2 year study and found lots of
info and met lots of wonderful people that were already making and
learning about these more natural products. After making my first batch
of soap several years ago and my family using it and finding it of great
help to our skin, we have never purchased commercial soaps or lotions,
ointments, etc. again. I was amazed that it cleared up a skin rash that
our middle daughter had from birth, that the Dr's had not been able to
clear up and that rash cleared up just from a basic soap that I had
made. Since then I discovered Goats Milk soap and many other wonderful
ways to make soaps. I have had some wonderful experiences and feedback
with my soap, creams, lotions, ointments, etc. These coming from my
family, old friends and new friends (our customers) that have enjoyed
the products.
Since learning all of this and doing hundreds on experiments that are on
going, I found that there were many people that really wanted to know
how to do this for their families and friends. So I started teaching
what I have learned. We opened our email list and you are welcome to
join and learn how to do this for yourself.

We carry the one of a kind TLC Soap/Cutter Mold™
and TLC Soap Jeweler™ that my hubby Eddie designed. He does
other wood working as well and we will have some
of these items listed on the site from time to
time. We have a Soapmaking Kit that will help you get started if you have never made soap from scratch before.
May the ~A~ngels Up ~A~bove,
Guide you with Love. ~A~
