Some helpful Hints to make your Shampoo Bars really special You can infuse herbs into the Olive Oil like, Chamomile, Lavender, Calendula, Comfrey, Rosemary, Peppermint, etc. and use EO's for fragrance. Also make teas with the herbs to boost the healing powers and add Vitamin E for the helpfullness it gives to the skin. You can add the lye directly to the tea to make the soap. Take a look at the page for infusing herbs. You can make this into a Pine Tar shampoo also by adding about 2 Tbsp. of Pine Tar to the oils as they melt. Or you can melt it down and add to the soap when Handmilling it to get the most benifit from it, adding the EO's then also. Lavender, Rose Geraninum, Tea Tree, Rosemary, Peppermint EO's, etc. can also be added for help in healing and to cut the strong aroma of the Pine Tar if you choose to use it.
