 TLC's Handmilling Soap Base |
Right now I am only able to list the soap bases that I have on hand.
It has
been very hard for me to keep up with orders as they come in with my health
issues, space problems and other commitments. So when I
make soapbase and have extra on hand, I will list it here. If you wish
to be on the notification list that I am setting up for this, please let
me know and I will send out a message to everyone about the soapbases that
I have when I have them.
I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause those of you that enjoy using
the soapbases that I make. Maybe later things here will allow me to
be able to make the soap as it is ordered again.

If you wish to make a
true soap, but do not want to work with the lye
process just yet, this is the base for you. This
is a Natural Soap Base not a melt and pour
detergent base like you see sold in the craft
stores, but a base of real soap that you melt
down, add any ingredients you like and mold.
The soaps comes to you in chunks so that it can
retain the moisture in the soap which makes it
easer to Hand mill then using dried soap shreds
or chunks. You can either cut it up into smaller
chunks or shred it up into threads with a Salad
Shooter. I usually just chunk mine up since it
melts down just fine that way. I include my
writings on how to melt it and the different
methods to do so and helpful hints for several
things that can be added to the soap if you wish
to add ingredients. I make a few bases and will
put a notice here when I have any on hand.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Tallow, "Trinity of
Lathering Oils" of Coconut, Palm Kernel and
Castor Oil for an incredible lather and natural
glycerin.
