Type of Lye:
NAOH Sodium Hydroxide for Bar Soap
KOH Potassium Hydroxide for Liquid Soap

Water Amount: Default set at 33%. This is how I teach to start out. If doing HP, use the 33% in the drop down window.

Superfat: Amounts used mostly is 5% to 8%

Hardeners for soap:
The use of 1/2 oz. to 1 oz. per lb. of oils in the soap formula for Beeswax.
Stearic Acid will accelerate trace for most formulas and you will need to experiment with your formula to know how much you will need. Start with 1/2 tsp. to 1 tsp. per lb. of oils in the soap formula.
NOTE: Only use 1 in your formula unless you are confident in how to process the soap.
